The estate of slain gangsta-rapper Tupac Shakur is expected to settle two
lawsuits filed against it by Nov. 4, according to estate attorney Donald David. The first
settlement would find the estate paying Shakur's biological father, William Garland,
$990,000 to drop his claim that he is entitled to half of the late rapper's estate. The
second settlement would award $2 million to Jacquelyn McNealy, a 27-year-old
Arkansas woman who was struck by a random bullet at a Shakur concert in Little Rock,
Ark., and became a paraplegic.
