Singer/songwriter Johnny Cash was released from Nashville's Baptist Hospital
on Saturday, according to hospital spokeswoman Jessica Etz. Cash was admitted last
week so doctors could regulate his ongoing treatment for Shy-Drager syndrome, a
Parkinson's Disease-related disorder that impairs speech and vision and causes blood
pressure to fluctuate. Last month, the 66-year-old country-music legend was treated at
the same hospital for pneumonia.
