Neo-psychedelic Brit-pop artist Julian Cope has released his third book, entitled
"The Modern Antiquarian." Unlike his previous writing endeavors, the autobiographical
"Head-On" and "Krautrocksampler," this offering is a guidebook to the stone monuments
that decorate the British Isles. It took Cope six years to gather information for the text,
which includes poems, thoughts and fantasies inspired by the 400 megalithic sites that
the artist and his family visited.
