Jett Faints At ACLU Dinner

Rocker Joan Jett -- known for her black-leather garb and her trademark song "I

Love Rock 'n' Roll" -- fainted at an ACLU free-speech benefit dinner on Tuesday night.

Although it was unclear what ailed her, "she's apparently fine [and] didn't have to go to

the hospital or anything," according to Ken Phillips, Jett's spokesman. The former

Runaways guitarist/singer, who has been touring all summer, received medical

attention from paramedics at the site, after which she went to her hotel room and rested,

Phillips said.
