Madonna OKs TV Promo Use Of Song

For the first time in her illustrious career, pop diva Madonna has OK'd the use of

one of her songs to promote a television show, in this case allowing the WB Network to

use the next single off her Ray of Light album in promotional trailers for its new

series "Felicity."

The show, which is scheduled to premiere this fall, features 17-year-old Keri Russell

("Malibu Shores") and tracks her character's experiences as she leaves home for New

York City.

The single, "Power of Goodbye," is set to be released on Aug. 25 and will subsequently

be heard during the "Felicity" trailers on television and radio and in movie theaters

nationwide.
