Portland, Ore.-based psych-popsters the Dandy Warhols are hoping to score a studio in Jamaica to record the follow-up to last year's The Dandy Warhols Come Down. Planning to hit the studio this winter, the Dandys want a warm
climate to keep their creative juices flowing. "We're trying to chase
the endless summer," new drummer Brent DeBoer said. New songs include "White Gold," a country-influenced ditty about cocaine -- a likely sequel
to the band's breakthrough hit, "Not If You Were the Last Junkie On Earth."
