YG And Lil Wayne Reunite For The Trillest Song Of The Year

‘Ballin like Shaquille O’Trill’

Good news: If you’re in need of some solid financial planning to jumpstart 2017, YG and Lil Wayne have come through for you.

“What's the plan? See the plan is to stack a hundred grand / Turn that hundred grand to a million / Turn that million to a billion / Turn that billion to a trillion,” YG raps on his new collab with Weezy, the upbeat “Trill.”

OK, so ... it’s not exactly a strategy that’ll work for most of us, but it is the science behind what’s made these two trill their whole lives. YG and Wayne (who dubs himself “Shaquille O’Trill” here) are a lethal combination on the new track, spitting boastful bars over atmospheric production courtesy of Boi-1da. The two previously joined forces on a remix of YG’s hit “My N---a” and on his Still Brazy cut “I Got a Question.” But this is undoubtedly their, uh, trillest collab yet.

“Trill” kicks off Red Bull’s "20 Before 17" series, which will feature the release of 20 exclusive tracks, videos, lectures, and interactive experiences before the new year.

The new song comes just a couple weeks after YG unleashed the mixtape Red Friday. Lil Wayne, meanwhile, is preparing to drop a new project called Funeral. He’s still fighting for a clean break from Cash Money, but hopefully he’ll keep holding fans over with fire feature verses like this.
