'Hairspray Live!' Reunited 'Glee' Star Darren Criss With Two Fellow Warblers

It was a total teenage dream

While fans were dancing to "Run and Tell That" and "You Can't Stop the Beat" Wednesday night (December 7) when America returned to the '60s via NBC's Hairspray Live!, they might've missed a fun reunion that happened off-camera.

Broadway star and former Glee Warbler Darren Criss hosted the commercials and behind-the-scenes looks during the night. Even though fans would've rather seen him in the show instead, they got a surprise when, hours before showtime, Criss snapped a fun Warblers reunion pic with Mason Trueblood and Re'Sean Pates that's a total teenage dream.

For Hairspray Live!, Trueblood played Fender, one of the performers on The Corny Collins Show and a nice kid in town. On Glee, he hung out with Criss as the Super Gay Warbler: the guy who got annoyed with Criss's character when he asked him, "But aren't most of you guys gay?" (The response? "I have a girlfriend.")

Pates, meanwhile, played Jackie, a member of the Motormouth gang. "I love a good reunion," he wrote on Twitter after retweeting Criss. So do we.
