Hunger Games Star Sam Claflin Has A Message For The Person Who Photoshopped His Body

‘But it isn’t me. It never was me.’

Another day, another celebrity’s body photoshopped into oblivion. The difference, though, is that Sam Claflin (Finnick Odair in the Hunger Games saga) isn’t exactly upset with the photo manipulation.

On Friday (December 2), Claflin candidly explained why he was thankful to the photoshopper who created a shirtless and totally ripped version of him wistfully staring off into the distance — and also proud he doesn’t actually look like that.

The Me Before You star began his lengthy caption by thanking three different people: the person who worked super hard to get that hot body, the photoshopper who painstakingly made Claflin’s head fit perfectly onto said hot body, and all the fans who actually believed that photo was legit. (Guilty as charged, Sam.)

“Right now, I’m enjoying my work, and being a Dad for the first time, and it’s getting way too close to Christmas for me to spend any free time I DO have in the gym,” Claflin wrote. “But bless you.” He and wife Laura Haddock welcomed their first child back in December 2015, so he added a “#dadbod” hashtag for good measure. It’s nice to see people embracing their bodies, but I don't think Claflin and I have the same definition of “dad bod,” based on this pic he uploaded to Instagram just last week.

But you do you, Sam. We love you like Finnick loved Annie.
