Reggie Watts Closed Out Wonderland With A Song He Made Up On The Spot

No rehearsals, nothing written down

You might know Reggie Watts's smooth pipes from The Late Late Show With James Corden, where he's currently the leader of the house band Karen. But when he's not acting as a foil to the host of "Carpool Karaoke," Watts also makes some rad music of his own.

For the season finale of MTV's Wonderland, Watts and Karen went onstage with no plans whatsoever for what they were about to play. But they're all trained musicians, and they all have a knack for improvisation. It was no problem to put together a perfectly composed song completely on the fly.

Watts sang lead vocals on the improvised track, going so far as to remember his own lyrics well enough to repeat the chorus verbatim. If this is what Karen can do with zero rehearsals or lyric sheets, the bar for everyone else just got a little higher.
