Mac Miller Drops Drone-Friendly ‘Stay’ Video

Mac’s solo coastline trek is too beautiful to believe

Mac Miller roams a gorgeous beach in his new music video, but there’s no need to groan about warm weather FOMO. As serene as the shoreline is, it’s also surprisingly wintry, giving Mac the perfect serene backdrop for his lovelorn ballad “Stay.”

Rocking a padded North Face vest, sweats, and worn-out Vans, the Pittsburgh MC takes a solo trek across the deserted beach as the sun sets behind him. He’s the only human being for what seems like miles, but it’s hard to keep your eyes on him — the scenery is so entrancingly stunning, thanks to some nifty drone camera work. All the while, Mac begs his girl to stay by his side over a jazzy, trumpet-heavy instrumental that puts the “divine” in The Divine Feminine.

“Stay” is from Miller’s latest album, The Divine Feminine, which also features the Anderson .Paak–assisted “Dang!” and “My Favorite Part,” Mac’s smooth collab with girlfriend Ariana Grande.
