Michael Cera's Robin Is So Perfect In Hilarious New 'LEGO Batman' Trailer

'Rrrrip!'

Can Batman be happy? That's the question directors Phil Lord and Christopher Miller are posing in the latest trailer for The LEGO Batman Movie, the most anticipated Dark Knight film since, well, the last one. (Honestly, you just need to put Batman in the title, and your movie will make hundreds of millions of dollars.) And if so, what, or who, can bring the Bat (Will Arnett) the happiness he so secretly craves?

"Your greatest fear is being a part of a family again," Alfred (Ralph Fiennes) tells Gotham's Caped Crusader in the trailer. (For what it's worth, he's also terribly afraid of snake clowns.) Enter Robin, the orphan boy Bruce Wayne accidentally adopted. There have been plenty of Robins in the Batman universe — Burt Ward, Chris O'Donnell, Joseph Gordon Levitt (kinda), to name a few — but none have ripped off their pants with as much fervor as Michael Cera's LEGO Robin. I really hope "Rrrrip!" becomes a thing because I need Cera's Robin to become the definitive Boy Wonder performance of our time.

Eventually, Batman and Robin learn to work together, recruiting Police Commissioner Barbara Gordon (Rosario Dawson), a.k.a. Batgirl, to round out their Bat Family and take on the evil Joker (Zach Galifianakis). Oh, and somewhere along the way, LEGO Batman takes a jab at Batfleck and Superman's beef in Batman V. Superman.

The LEGO Batman Movie hits theaters on February 10, 2017.
