Beyoncé And The Dixie Chicks Formed The Supergroup You Never Knew You Needed

Texas

Last night (November 2) at the Country Music Association Awards, Beyoncé and the Dixie Chicks stormed the stage with a juiced-up take on Lemonade track "Daddy Lessons."

The country cut from Beyoncé's most recent album took on a whole new life with harmonies from the country trio, as well as performances from a few extra saxophonists, backup singers, trumpet players, and percussionists. Beyoncé beamed from the stage, and her chemistry with her new bandmates appeared instant and effortless.

Thankfully, last night's awards show wasn't your only chance to hear the new version of "Daddy Lessons," which interpolates a few lines from the Dixie Chicks's 2002 hit "Long Time Gone." The band recorded one of their rehearsals and released the track as a free download from Beyoncé's website.
