Steve From Blue's Clues Made A Trippy Music Video With Unicorns And Rainbows

No more ‘Mailtime’

The dude in the striped green polo is back and still singing to kids. Steve Burns may no longer be on “Steve” from Blue's Clues, but he is recording children's music with drummer Steven Drozd of the Flaming Lips. Their new band, appropriately called STEVENSTEVEN, will actually drop a record, Foreverywhere, next year.

“The Unicorn and Princess Rainbow” is your first taste of what's to come. The song is decidedly darker than anything from Blue's Clues, beginning with the unicorn discovering that he isn't real: “It's hard to know what to feel when you don't exist.” Dang.

Then he falls in love with a girl named Princess Rainbow, because screw logic.

I think we can all agree that finding a unicorn is much more exciting than getting a letter in the mail.
