Lady Gaga Is One Belting, Glorious, Tinsel Tornado On SNL

Live, from New York, it’s ‘A-Yo’ and ‘Million Reasons’

Lady Gaga continued her hometown takeover on October 22, and hit Saturday Night Live to perform two of the most revved-up tracks off Joanne in a getup as glittery as the top of the Chrysler Building.

Starting with “A-Yo,” Gaga — along with Mark Ronson, who produced the album, on guitar — roared through the twangified single, leaving no high note unchecked and working herself into a frenzy as she gyrated and convulsed through the track.

She then dove into “Million Reasons” for a serious mood change without scrimping on any of “A-Yo”’s intensity. Gaga ditched the dance moves and the guitar for the keys, and delivered the first half of the rousing, emotional ballad from her seat before getting swept up in the moving chorus and making her way to the top of the upright piano.

Gaga is definitely feeling the post-show love, and despite the heartbroken vibes of “Million Reasons,” she was walking on air after SNL:
