Ever since Lauren Conrad donned that flapper Halloween costume during Season 3 of The Hills, the former MTV star has made it no secret that she adores the annual October 31 extravaganza. So what disguise will the Laguna lady opt for the spooky and candy corn-filled fest?
A circus performer (no clowns or elephants with this homemade creation, though).
"We decided to go with a trio of characters: pastel circus ballerina, a mime and a tightrope walker," Mrs. Tell elaborates on her website, while adding that the initial inspiration came from this star-sequinned frock from Valentino’s Star Studded collection. "I had a vision of putting a pastel twist on regular circus performer costumes and incorporating the star sequins from that dress into our own costumes. So my friends Lauren and Hannah and I got a bunch of tulle, some pretty ribbon and feathers, put on some circus music, and started crafting away."
And if you want to go for the same look as the former Teen Vogue intern, Lauren details exactly how you can construct the garb on your own.
What do you think of Lauren's Halloween choice? Sound off in the comments -- and because 'tis the season, go back to the previously mentioned Hills soiree in the clip below (and yes, Brody Jenner and Frankie Delgado are dressed as Robin and Batman, respectively).
