Mark Ronson And Lily Allen Are Back At Work In The Studio

Less of a #TBT, more of an ASAP PLZ

Lily Allen and Mark Ronson have been friends and collaborators for a while now: Ronson produced part of her 2006 debut, Alright, Still, and she's performed alongside him at a number of events since.

When a fan tweeted a quick #TBT on the 10-year anniversary of Allen's first show in San Francisco — one that also featured Ronson — the pair were quick to respond, as they were together in the studio working on new music.

Allen has enlisted Ronson for her forthcoming album, her first since 2014's Sheezus, and he can't wait for people to hear the finished product: He told The Sun that this record is going to be a game-changer for the singer.

"We’ve been writing together again on the new record," he said. "I feel like they are some of the best songs she’s written. Her voice sounds incredible. The stuff I’m working on is some of her most honest and heartbreaking music ever. She writes so honestly you can feel it.”

There's the update straight from the studio — and they've even got the selfie to prove it.
