Maroon 5 Are Back With The Kendrick Lamar-Featuring 'Don't Wanna Know'

Did they borrow Major Lazer's marimba or something?

Adam Levine may be busy with his diaper-changing schedule and The Voice, but he's still hard at work with Maroon 5 and finally has new music to share — and it features none other than one of the best rappers in the game.

With "Don't Wanna Know," Maroon 5 break out the marimba and some handclaps for an airy pop confection that pairs a slow build with a case of the post-heartbreak sads.

Throw K. Dot into the mix and you've got an unexpected collaboration that plays on the poppier reflexes of each artist in a surprisingly subdued way.

Does this mean a new Maroon 5 record is on the way? They'll follow up the track's drop with a premiere of the official video on October 14, and will swing through Ellen to perform it live on November 3. Seems like an awful lot of fuss for a single, so keep those fingers crossed, fans.
