Pusha T And Weezer’s Rivers Cuomo Link Up For The Instantly Uplifting ‘Too Young’

Hear their surprising collab with EDM duo Zeds Dead

Rest easy, music lovers — the collaboration you’ve been waiting your whole life for is finally here. You know, the one with Pusha T and Weezer frontman Rivers Cuomo. That one.

The hip-hop heavyweight and indie-rock stalwart have linked up for “Too Young,” a new track from Canadian EDM duo Zeds Dead. The result is a poppy, genre-blending dose of positivity, as Pusha raps about making a lane of your own and coloring outside of the lines. “Takin’ selfies in the mirror / Get the angle, make it clearer / That ain’t perfect, girl, ain’t no perfect world / Why we takin’ life so serious?” he spits over a bouncy beat centered around a cheerful piano medley. Cuomo hops on the equally uplifting chorus, singing, “Girl, you’re too young / Don’t give up on life / Don’t, don’t stop believing.”

“Too Young” appears on Zeds Dead’s upcoming album, Northern Lights, due out October 14. The LP also features collaborations with Diplo and Elliphant, Freddie Gibbs, Twin Shadow, Jadakiss, and more.
