Is 'Stranger Things' Looking To Cast A Small Supernatural Army Of Elevens Next Season?

Those who dislike waffles need not audition

If you were to name the first face that comes to mind when you think of Stranger Things, chances are it's Millie Bobby Brown, as her searing eyes and buzz cut have made Eleven one of the show's most recognizable characters.

Now that the Netflix hit is gearing up for its second season, a casting call has gone out indicating that the Stranger Things crew might be looking to capitalize on Eleven's distinctive look.

As BuzzFeed picked up, a notice for extras in Backstage seeks out women between the ages of 18 and 70 who are "willing to have their hair/bangs cut."

Considering that Brown went through a drastic transformation to achieve Eleven's style that went from buzz to buzzy in an episode flat, the speculation isn't entirely off-base, though it may be a biiiit of an overreaction. Minor cosmetic changes (like, say, a haircut or dye job) sometimes come with the gig when you're an actor. Plus, Eleven isn't even old enough to get her learner's permit, so assuming that these women — who could be old enough to be Eleven's mom, or grandma, really — are biting her hairstyle is a bit of a jump.

Still: Man oh man that'd be cool if a bunch of shorn badasses with telekinetic powers and a hunger for waffles showed up in the second season of Stranger Things.
