The last time we witnessed Miley Cyrus’s hosting prowess, she was partially naked and fully unpredictable at the 2015 Video Music Awards. For her latest TV hosting stint, though, Miley’s turned it down a few notches by channeling the one and only Ellen DeGeneres.

The talk show host was out sick today (September 28), but The Ellen DeGeneres Show went on thanks to Miley. In a preview for the episode, the substitute hostess rocks her best Ellen-esque outfit and dance moves, before assuring the audience she’ll do her best to fill Ellen’s shoes.

“I’m dressed like her, I smell like her, just before I came out here I actually kissed a girl so, uh, thank you. Thank you for staying,” Miley jokes. “I’ll admit I’m a little bit nervous because I’ve never hosted a show with my clothes on before, so this is so weird.”

The Voice judge then launched right into her hosting duties, kicking off day four of the show’s Cat Week by showing a bunch of cute cat videos (she also threw in a weed-related joke, for good measure: “Catnip: legalize it!”).
