Beyoncé Danced To ‘Dey Know’ In Honor Of Shawty Lo
Bey paid tribute in the late rapper's hometown of Atlanta
When the Formation Tour stopped by Atlanta last night (September 26), Beyoncé made sure to pay tribute to the city's own Shawty Lo, who died last week in a car crash.
Beyoncé played the rapper's single "Dey Know" between her own songs, leading her dancers in a routine that seemed to be choreographed specifically for the tribute. The crowd enthusiastically cheered and sang along while Beyoncé flipped her hair to the track's brass band opening.
Shawty Lo released "Dey Know" in 2007 ahead of his only solo album, Units in the City.
