It's one thing to work with designers, models, and other fashion geniuses on the regular. It's another to link arms with an icon and hit the runway with her, and that's what made a typical walk something extraordinary for Gigi Hadid.
During Bottega Veneta's show at Milan Fashion Week — which celebrated the 50th anniversary of the fashion house — Hadid donned a petal pink jumpsuit and closed the show with Lauren Hutton, a model whose face has graced more covers of Vogue than anyone else (seriously — she holds the record with 41 covers under her belt).
The significance of her shared stroll wasn't lost on Gigi, who gushed about her time with Hutton on Instagram: "What an incredible honor it was to walk the LEGENDARY icon Lauren Hutton down the runway at @bottegaveneta today. & what a beautiful spirit she is!" She proceeded to thank the label and Hutton for a moment she'll "never ever forget."
Considering the awful way in which Gigi's time in Milan began, this heartwarming experience is way, waaaay more of an appropriate — and deserved! — surprise for the supermodel.
