Fuller House Season 2 Will Premiere Just In Time For Christmas

This is definitely anything but rude

If it feels like it's been too long since the Tanner family's been on your TV (or computer) screen, Candace Cameron Bure has great news for you. D.J. Tanner herself proudly announced on The View Wednesday morning (September 21) that Fuller House will return to Netflix for Season 2 on December 9, 2016 — just in time for the holidays. Bure also shared a new Season 2 poster on Instagram that has us ready to jump in a pile of leaves and shout, "You got it, dude!"

Details about the new season have slowly trickled in after Season 1's premiere in February. We know we can look forward to meeting Uncle Joey's wife, Ginger, and their four kids — insert Popeye laugh here. Also, Jesse and Becky Katsopolis' twins, Nicky and Alex, will return for more shenanigans, and D.J. will have more love triangle issues with former beau Steve Hale (Scott Weinger) and new squeeze Matt Harmon (John Brotherton).

Recently it was announced that Jason Marsden, who played D.J.'s rich boyfriend Nelson on Full House, won't be reprising his role, so Netflix cast Hal Sparks instead.

The news also dropped on Dave Coulier's 57th birthday, and the cast was quick to celebrate everyone's favorite Ranger Joe's big day, though some celebrated it a little early.
