Ariana Grande Wore ’70s Dad Glasses During Her ‘Favorite’ Live Performance Ever

She returned to Fallon for a rare performance of ‘Jason’s Song (Gave It Away)’

Ariana Grande did her own favorite live performance during a special appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon Monday night (September 19).

Less than two weeks after she rapped "Side to Side" on the show, Grande made a return visit for a very different kind of performance. Backed up by The Roots and Jason Robert Brown, she sang "Jason's Song (Gave It Away)," a bonus track from the Target edition of her latest album, Dangerous Woman.

Grande's vocal range was on full display during the stripped-down take on the song, which was written by Brown (hence the name). If anything, this old-school performance has only gotten us more excited about Grande's upcoming role in Hairspray Live!

After the show, Grande tweeted that the performance was probably her favorite one so far.

Hearing her sing like that, it's hard to disagree that Brown and Grande make an amazing fit.
