Justice League Director Zack Snyder Shares A Sneak Peek On Batman Day

We knew J.K. Simmons would give us a broody Commissioner Gordon, but damn

Justice League director Zack Snyder isn't just celebrating Batman Day by introducing a new wardrobe staple for fans of the Dark Knight. He's keeping the sneak peeks coming with a mysterious look at a key character, making this more of a Batman week than a single holiday.

Batman Day — observed by fans of the Caped Crusader on September 17 — saw the introduction of Snyder's take on Gotham's Commissioner Gordon, who will be portrayed by Oscar-winner/everyone's least favorite drum teacher/most favorite M&M, J.K. Simmons.

There's not a whole lot to go on here beyond a film-noir vibe and Jim Gordon's magnificent mustache, but it's great to see Snyder get stoked for the unofficial holiday and share that with Justice League fans.
