Tinashe, Ty Dolla $ign, And Broods Light Up MTV’s Live Music Series Premiere

‘Wonderland’ kicks off tonight on MTV, Facebook, Snapchat, and more

Wonderland is MTV’s first weekly live music series in almost 20 years, and it kicks off tonight (September 15) at 8 p.m. PT/11 p.m. ET with a little help from Tinashe, Ty Dolla $ign, and Broods.

All three acts performing on the Wonderland series premiere have been busy cooking up new releases this summer. R&B singer Tinashe is gearing up to release Joyride, her follow-up to 2014’s Aquarius; she debuted the record’s lead single “Superlove” earlier this year. Rapper Ty Dolla $ign, meanwhile, will drop his Campaign mixtape on September 23, and New Zealand pop duo Broods just put out their second album, Conscious, in June.

That’s a lot of new music from three exciting acts, and they’ll share it live from L.A. when they take the Wonderland stage tonight. Hosted by Steak, Lizzo, and Myke Wright (all of whom you might have spotted at the VMAs a couple weeks ago), Wonderland will bring new music not only to your TV but to your phone and computer, too. A Facebook Live stream will supplement the MTV broadcast, while MTV’s Snapchat, Twitter, and Instagram will offer an on-the-ground look at the show as it happens.
