Tupac Confronts Biggie In New All Eyez On Me Trailer

Arriving on the 20th anniversary of the rapper’s death

The promotional team behind the upcoming Tupac biopic All Eyez On Me has their calendar dates firmly circled. In June, we got a minute-long teaser for the film on what would’ve been Pac’s 45th birthday, and now, a full-length trailer has arrived on the 20th anniversary of his death.

The new clip clocks in at just under two minutes, but covers a ton of ground with an ominous, rapid-fire montage. We see scenes of Pac (played by real-life doppelgänger Demetrius Shipp Jr.) getting roughed up by cops, firing shots, and having an intense conversation with his mother Afeni (The Walking Dead’s Danai Guira), who warns him, “Like all black leaders, you have a bullseye on your back.” He spits back, “I ain’t no black leader.”

Perhaps most surprisingly, we see Tupac and his chief rap rival Notorious B.I.G. (Jamal Woolard) agreeing on one thing: “Loyalty is everything.”

All Eyez On Me also stars Dominic L. Santana as Suge Knight, Kat Graham as Jada Pinkett, and Harold House Moor as Dr. Dre. A premiere date for the film has yet to be announced. And in the event it fails to provide more insight into Tupac’s still-unsolved death, don’t worry — Johnny Depp is making another movie all about that.
