Usher’s New Album Hard II Love Is Streaming Three Days Early

The singer’s first record in four years gets a surprise Tuesday release

Usher has dropped his new album, Hard II Love, three days early — for Tidal subscribers, at least.

The singer's eighth album will be officially out this Friday (September 16), but anyone with a Tidal account can preview it now. Hey, some of us just never got used to album release day moving from Tuesday to Friday.

Hard II Love's fourth single, "Missin U," also hits the air today in anticipation of the album's release.

Usher has been hinting at the arrival of this album for more than two years. Back in January, he said that it would be called Flawed, but he announced Hard II Love as the official title last month on Jimmy Kimmel Live!

After two years and a few name changes, Hard II Love is here — and by "here," we mean "exclusively on Tidal." For now.
