Britney Spears Threw A Pokémon Party Because She Understands Your Obsession

Gimme, gimme more Pikachu

Pokémon fans reached peak Pokémania this year, and Britney Spears is HERE FOR IT. And so are her sons, Sean and Jayden, who celebrated their birthdays this weekend with a Poké-themed party thrown by their parents — Brit and Kevin Federline.

Jayden turned 10 on Monday (September 12) and Sean, who goes by his middle name, Preston, turns 11 on Wednesday (September 14).

The Spears kids’ party came complete with Poké Ball decorations and Snorlax and Pikachu cake pops. Party guests included Bulbasaur, Squirtle, Sceptile, and Charmander.

This isn't Brit’s first foray into Pokémon. Back in 1999, her song “Soda Pop” — off her iconic debut, ... Baby One More Time — was featured on Pokémon: The First Movie’s soundtrack. Two kids and several VMA performances later, she still knows her Pokémon.

Happy birthday, Jayden and Preston! May there be many, many more Pokémon in your future.
