Lady Gaga’s “Perfect Illusion” is here, and it’s already established a new direction for the singer.

Unlike 2013’s Artpop, Gaga’s latest incorporates elements of stadium rock into her pounding dance-pop template. At points, it almost sounds like the classic rock band Queen. She even brought on a few experts to round out her new sound: Kevin Parker of Tame Impala and Josh Homme of Queens of the Stone Age are both credited on “Perfect Illusion.”

Producers Mark Ronson (a.k.a that “Uptown Funk” guy) and Bloodpop (a.k.a the guy who produced Justin Bieber’s “Sorry”) showed up to lay down some synths, too. All in all, it’s a talent-packed affair.

And that’s not even the full list of contributors to LG5. In an interview with BBC Radio 1, Gaga announced that Florence Welch of Florence and the Machine appears in a duet on her forthcoming fifth album.

“Me and Florence Welch did a duet together. I started to work on an idea for a song that I really wanted to do with a girl. You’ll see why when you see what the song is about,” Gaga said. “She’s really to me, if not the best, one of the greatest vocalists in the world. She’s incredible.”

Not only is Welch one of the most powerful frontwomen in music right now, she also sounds like she’d be a perfect fit for Gaga’s new sound.
