Usher took his R&B chops to the BBC Radio 1 Live Lounge last week, where he performed songs off his upcoming Hard II Love record. To mix things up, he also covered The Chainsmokers’ hit collab with Daya, “Don’t Let Me Down.”

Somehow Usher Ursher worked his magic and transformed the EDM favorite into a more mellow, sax-fueled R&B jam. It’s easy listening for those of us who aren’t trying to spend all night raving at the club.

Who knows: Maybe Usher will tackle “Closer” next.
