Bill Nye Is Coming Back To Teach Grown-Up You About Science

Inertia is a property of matter

Years later, Bill-Bill-Bill-Bill Nye isn't done teaching you about science just yet. On Wednesday, August 31, Netflix announced a new talk show hosted by Nye. Bill Nye Saves the World, set for a spring 2017 release, will focus on how science influences pop culture and political policy.

"Since the start of the Science Guy show, I’ve been on a mission to change the world by getting people everywhere excited about the fundamental ideas in science," Nye said in a statement. "Today, I’m excited to be working with Netflix on a new show, where we’ll discuss the complex scientific issues facing us today, with episodes on vaccinations, genetically modified foods and climate change. With the right science and good writing, we’ll do our best to enlighten and entertain our audience. And, perhaps we’ll change the world a little.”

So, to put all that more simply, he's still trying to show us that "science rules" long after elementary school biology. Nye always made learning fun, so maybe he can show our adult selves a thing or two. Hopefully spring 2017 gets here in T-minus seven seconds.
