These 4 Teens Met Beyoncé, Britney Spears, And More At The VMAs

This is what happens when MTV partnered with Make-A-Wish

All kinds of VMA dreams came true last Sunday night (August 28) at New York's Madison Square Garden. This goes double quadruple for four teens — Grace Fulcher, Madison "Madi" Haggard, Sierra Mason (all 16) and Samantha Savioe (14) — who spent four magical days behind the scenes of the awards show thanks to the Make-A-Wish Foundation, which grants wishes for kids living with serious medical conditions.

In this case, all four girls wanted to experience the VMAs firsthand after watching it for so many years. MTV made it happen and created a video of highlights from their trip.

"I really wanted to go to the VMAs because I really wanted to see New York. I wanted to see the red carpet, and I just wanted to meet a bunch of celebrities," Grace, pictured below with Kim Kardashian West, told MTV News. "It feels good to be part of something that you usually see on TV."

That wish mostly came true with only one small hitch: The VMA carpet was actually white, not red. The four girls ended up meeting too many stars to count, including Kimye and Britney Spears, and even hung out with Halsey and The Chainsmokers after their "Closer" performance rehearsal.

Even Beyoncé stopped by to shake their hands and tell them how beautiful they looked before walking the carpet hand-in-hand with Blue Ivy. Here's the queen greeting Madi:

Besides having backstage access and A-plus seats for the show and the pre-parties, each girl received her own mini-Moonman award and saw all four names in big, bright MSG lights. Talk about an unforgettable night.
