Young Thug And T.I.’s ‘Bobby Womack’ Is Perfect For Cadillac Bumpin’

Hear the ATL elite reunite on a new song

While fans patiently await the arrival of Young Thug’s (sorry, No, My Name Is Jeffery's) delayed project Jeffrey, he’s reunited with T.I. for a short but sweet new collab.

The London On Da Track-produced “Bobby Womack” — named after the late soul singer (because apparently that's a trend nowadays) — finds Thugger delivering a lone verse about being “a slave to the money.” Tip, meanwhile, handles hook duty against a slow driving bass line, reminiscing about being “in the Cadillac bumpin’ Bobby Womack.” Clocking in at just over two minutes, it’s over way too soon — but it’s a nice little holdover until Jeffery’s August 26 release.

“Bobby Womack” appears on the third installment of 3rdy Baby and Muzik Fene’s Margiela Music mixtape series, comprised of collaborations from Atlanta rappers. It also marks the third time T.I. and Young Thug have worked together, following “Out My Face” and “Bankroll Mafia.”
