What is This Year’s Song of Summer?

It’s anyone’s game at this point.

By Ilana Kaplan

With bangers by artists from Drake to Justin Timberlake, it’s been a season full of great music. But there really can only be one song of summer. Do you think Calvin Harris and Rihanna will take the top spot? Or Selena Gomez? Cast your vote using the musical.ly app by making your own “Song of Summer” video or liking an existing clip for one of the nominees - the winner will be decided by the amount of original videos posted and the number of ‘likes’.

Here’s how to do it: Visit the Discover page on the musical.ly app and click the promo on the top banner for “Song of Summer.” After you click into it, you’ll see a button at the top to post your own “Song of Summer” video with instructions on how to vote. You’ll be able to create your own musical.ly with your favorite nominated song through the VMA “Song of Summer” folder that you’ll see on the next page.

Happy voting. May the best song win!
