Following Rihanna, Kylie Jenner, and Rae Sremmurd, Young Thug — or the artist formerly known as Young Thug, who now goes by No, My Name Is Jeffery — is establishing his athleticwear loyalties and running with one powerful jungle cat.
His latest campaign with Puma is out now, and features the rapper rocking a tracksuit so well that it has even the most steadfast of athleisure critics revisiting their stance on sweatpants as cocktail attire.
He's also sporting the Puma Suede — the same vintage-inspired sneaker that Jenner and Rae Sremmurd do for their respective Puma campaigns — in a number of different looks, with slim fits and velour finishes making him pop off the metaphorical page.
As i-D points out, the throwback, NYC-of-yore feel of Jenner's Subway shoot is echoed here, as No, My Name Is Jeffery accessorizes his Suede kicks with old school boomboxes, records, and a vintage bike.
If this is what Rihanna's creative direction delivers, we're here for it.
