11 'Fuller House' Cameos We Need Before The Olsen Twins’

You got it, dude?

We need to face the facts: Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen aren’t ever gonna guest star on Fuller House. Star Jodie Sweetin, who played their TV sister Stephanie Tanner for eight seasons, confessed to Entertainment Tonight that the cast and crew “tried everything” to get them on board for the Netflix spin-off series. “I think we’ve kinda given up,” she said. Aw, nuts!

But you know what? Fuller House’s first season managed perfectly fine without the Olsen twins. It’d be nice to have the entire Tanner gang together for old time’s sake, but there are still plenty of characters from the original Full House days we’re dying to see back for Season 2.

Full House

Remember Kimmy Gibbler’s (Andrea Barber) weird and apathetic boyfriend? His response to everything was simply “whatever,” and it’d be nice to see if that’s still the only word he knows.

Gia Mahan

Warner Bros. Television Distribution

Full House

Stephanie’s BFF was definitely the Sam Puckett to Stephanie’s Carly Shay. Gia got the middle Tanner sister to smoke, drink, and rebel against her family. Is Gia still a “bad girl”?

Aaron Bailey

Full House

Michelle’s bully turned frenemy was a total force to be reckoned with on Full House. He had no filter, and that’s just what we loved about him. (And while we’re at it, let’s bring Teddy on the show as well, because he was Michelle’s boyfriend for a hot second.)

Denise Frazer

Full House

Michelle’s super sassy friend Denise never took anyone’s crap and always stood her ground. Plus her uncle was Little Richard. Denise was at the Tanner house so much, she’s practically family.

Derek S. Boyd

Full House

The boy who “stole” Michelle’s role as Yankee Doodle in the school play became her friend soon after, and he was definitely the smartest kid out of Michelle’s friends.

The Beach Boys

Warner Bros. Television Distribution

Full House

The famous band made several appearances on Full House, including the time Mike Love helped the Tanners raise enough money during their telethon by performing “Be True to Your School.”

Vicky Larson

Warner Bros. Television Distribution

Full House

Danny Tanner’s (Bob Saget) coanchor turned girlfriend turned fiancée was on the show for several episodes before they eventually broke up (she got a job in New York City). While Danny’s wife, Teri (Eva LaRue), was introduced in the pilot episode of Fuller House, it could make for a very interesting encounter.

Cindy

Warner Bros. Television Distribution

Full House

If Vicky doesn’t work out, how about getting Danny’s other girlfriend Cindy on the show instead? She and Danny met at her dry-cleaning job and briefly dated for a few episodes. Which reminds me ...

Rusty

Warner Bros. Television Distribution

Full House

If Cindy comes on board, then her son should as well. Cindy’s mischievous, snarky son Rusty was a thorn in the Tanner girls’ sides. He was always playing pranks on them. Who knows? They could’ve had a stepbrother.

Charles

Warner Bros. Television Distribution

Full House

On perhaps the saddest (and darkest) episode of Full House ever, Stephanie learned her classmate Charles was physically abused by his father. The last we ever heard of Charles was that he was placed in foster care.

Stavros

Warner Bros. Television Distribution

Full House

Uncle Jesse’s sleazy cousin from Greece (played by John Stamos in a dual role), was only on one episode of Full House. What’s Stavros been up to for all these years? Is he still a con artist and a liar? Yeah, probably.
