The MTV Video Music Awards will invade New York in just three short days (do NOT miss it!), and a bunch of your favorite actors and personalities from this network are set to attend the annual extravaganza.
But this is hardly the first time familiar faces from the channel have appeared at Big Apple-based shows. From Snooki & JWOWW to the ladies who ruled the Hills and of course multiple Real World casts (baby Johnny Bananas and CT!), one of music's biggest nights has featured some of our finest stars.
Check out retro photographs from the 2013, 2009, 2006, 2003 and 2002 installments below (they're featured from most recent to oldest), and be sure to catch the VMAs this Sunday at 9/8c.
