The Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows: Part 2 Kids Are All Grown Up

Accio adulthood

Five years after the final Harry Potter film premiered in theaters, author J.K. Rowling blessed us with another magical story. Harry Potter and the Cursed Child explores the lives of Albus Severus Potter, Rose Granger-Weasley, and Scorpius Malfoy during their time at Hogwarts. But what about the kids who played those characters in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2?

Last week, MTV News wrote about what Baby Snape, a.k.a. Benedict Clarke, is up to now, so let's see what these other 11 kids from the movie are doing.

  • Ellie Darcey-Alden as Young Lily Potter
    Warner Bros.
  • Now:

Darcey-Alden, who turns 17 in October, guest-starred on Doctor Who and Borgia after Harry Potter. She recently hung out with the Supernatural squad and returned to her roots by visiting the Wizarding World of Harry Potter at Universal Studios.

  • Ariella Paradise as Young Petunia Dursley
    Warner Bros.
  • Now:

Paradise hasn't acted since Deathly Hallows: Part 2 and seems to keep a low social media profile. According to her presumed Facebook account, she now lives in Hong Kong.

  • Alfie McIlwain as Young James Potter
    Warner Bros.
  • Now:

Like Paradise, Harry's dad (left) hasn't acted since Deathly Hallows: Part 2. He recently attended prom and hung out in Amsterdam.

  • Rohan Gotobed as Young Sirius Black
    Warner Bros.
  • Now:

Gotobed is still currently acting, guest-starring on David Hasselhoff's show Hoff the Record last year. According to his website, the 18-year-old used to be a reporter for Into Film and went to the press junket for the Bond movie Spectre, where he interviewed some of the cast.

  • Will Dunn as James Potter
    Warner Bros.
  • Now:

Harry and Ginny's oldest son — now 20 — hasn't acted since Deathly Hallows: Part 2, but appears to be more into music now. His YouTube channel includes videos of himself playing guitar covers of Muse and Radiohead, to name a few, as does his Instagram.

  • Arthur Bowen as Albus Severus Potter
    Warner Bros.
  • Now:

Like his movie brother, Harry and Ginny's youngest son hasn't acted since Deathly Hallows: Part 2, and also seems to keep a low profile online.

  • Daphne de Beistegui as Lily Potter
    Warner Bros.
  • Now:

Following in her movie brother's footsteps, Beistegui also hasn't acted since Deathly Hallows: Part 2, and hasn't been super active on social media lately.

  • Helena Barlow as Rose Weasley
    Warner Bros.
  • Now:

Hermione and Ron's daughter has worked on three more projects since her Harry Potter days, including playing Young Estella in the 2012 adaptation of Great Expectations.

  • Ryan Turner as Hugo Weasley
    Warner Bros.
  • Now:

Barlow's movie brother worked on three shorts and one film after Deathly Hallows: Part 2. The now 16-year-old recently celebrated his birthday and had one sweet ride to his prom.

  • Bertie Gilbert as Scorpius Malfoy
    Warner Bros.
  • Now:

It's a damn shame we never got to see Gilbert's face in Deathly Hallows: Part 2, because he's a good-looking guy. The 19-year-old appeared in the mini-series Oscar's Hotel for Fantastical Creatures and has acted in a plethora of short films. He's also a filmmaker and uploaded his newest short to his YouTube channel on July 28. Furthermore, he's "glad" his character is well-received in Harry Potter and the Cursed Child.

  • Hebe Beardsall as Ariana Dumbledore
    Warner Bros.
  • Now:

Albus and Aberforth's little sister recently played Leonie on Season 2 of Happy Valley. She also helped name a boat "Taylor Swift," because why the heck not.
