Pusha T And Jeremih Team Up For ‘Paid,’ An Upbeat Ode To Raking In Cash

Hear their contribution to the star-studded The Land soundtrack

Following Nas and Erykah Badu’s somber “This Bitter Land,Pusha T and Jeremih have dropped a decidedly more joyful cut from the upcoming indie drama The Land.

“Paid," a joyful ode to making sweet money, finds Jeremih expertly handling hook duty while Pusha raps about "movin' on up like George Jefferson" and being able to take care of the people around him. With its soulful piano melody, “Paid” sounds like an old-timey classic... which is only appropriate because, hey, chasing cash is a timeless pursuit.

Executive produced by Nas, The Land stars Badu and Machine Gun Kelly, and boasts a stacked soundtrack featuring Kanye West, Nosaj Thing, French Montana, and more. The album will be released in full tomorrow, but NPR is generously streaming the whole thing early — listen here.
