Victim #5: [SPOILER] Was Drowned By The Scream Killer (And It Completely Broke Our Heart)

Meanwhile, Brandon James might be back. Yes, really

Anyone got a tissue?

Emma and Audrey managed to save Noah after he was brutally stabbed and then buried in a makeshift casket on tonight's episode of Scream, but the Lakewood teens were unable to rescue Zoe from a similar fate: After racing to Wren Lake, they found the dear, sweet brainiac -- aka the girl who finally took Noah's virginity -- dead in her own coffin.

Our first reaction:

Our second reaction: Is dating Noah the kiss of death or WHAT? (Still thinking of you, Riley.)

So who killed The (Former) Virgin's new girlfriend (and Jake...and Eddie...and Mr. Branson...and Haley)? This season's main suspect Stavo was conveniently MIA this episode (hmmm); for that matter, so was Kieran (HMMM). Even Queen Brooke only made an appearance via a text message to Emma (miss you, girl, come back hard next week!). As for the very suspicious Eli? We're giving him more side-eye than ever after he watched Maggie put a note in that tree, proving he either knows one of her secrets or the little creeper was stalking outside Emma's bedroom because, you know, that's what he does best.

Meanwhile, Lakewood teens aside, Sheriff Acosta announced that he has a brand-new suspect.

"I think Brandon James might be back," he told Maggie.

Um, wait -- wasn't Brandon James shot by police on the very dock where Piper perished?

Well, yeah -- but a series of flashbacks showed a young Mags and Sheriff Acosta (look at that, he was kind of hot back in the day) finding a wounded Brandon in the woods, then bringing him to the pig farm. But even if Brandon were alive, why would he wreak havoc on Lakewood now?

"Piper was his daughter too," Sheriff Acosta reasoned. "Maybe her death brought him out of the woodwork. Maybe he wants revenge."

For her part, Maggie was doubtful.

"Brandon couldn't have survived all that out there on his own," she said. "I just don't think it's possible. He's dead in the woods somewhere."

But is he? After all, Sheriff Acosta did discover that someone's been living in a secret bedroom at the abandoned pig farm. And someone is obsessed with swine hearts -- when Maggie found one in Piper's body (all together now: YUCK), the sheriff told her it was a sign "for us -- about what we did." So what did Miguel and Maggie do? Do you think Brandon James could REALLY be back? And are you as sad as we are that Zoe became the killer's fifth victim? Tell us your thoughts, then get ready for more Scream on Tuesday at 10/9c!
