Sia Is Lending Her Voice (And Her Wig) To The 'My Little Pony' Movie

See the first look at her adorable character, Songbird Serenade

Just as Shakira became a singing gazelle for Disney’s Zootopia, Sia is now being transformed into an animated member of the animal kingdom — complete with her signature wig.

The “Cheap Thrills” singer has joined the voice cast of My Little Pony: The Movie as Songbird Serenade, a “pony pop star” whose mane is modeled after Sia’s go-to headpiece: a black-and-white wig topped with a giant bow.

This marks Sia’s first official foray into acting, though she’s been flirting with big-screen projects for a while. She recently contributed the song “Unforgettable” to Finding Dory, wrote Rihanna’s “Sledgehammer” for Star Trek Beyond, and teamed up with Diplo for “Waving Goodbye” from The Neon Demon. She’ll also contribute two new original songs to the My Little Pony: The Movie soundtrack.

My Little Pony: The Movie hits theaters October 6, 2017, and features a star-studded voice cast, including Uzo Aduba, Emily Blunt, Kristen Chenoweth, Taye Diggs, Michael Pena, and Liev Schreiber.
