Kesha Promises Brand New Music On Her Upcoming Summer Tour

She’ll be playing throughout North America all summer

Kesha is about to go on tour again, and she just promised a very good reason to go see her show.

In a new Instagram video posted Tuesday (July 19), the singer and songwriter revealed that she’ll be sharing some new music at her upcoming summer concert dates.

"I’m playing songs you’ve never heard me play before and I may never play again,” she said. "Only a couple shows, so I wanna see you there — purely for the fucking love of rock and roll in my soul."

Kesha will tour throughout North America, making stops at a few Mad Decent Block Party locations as well as some festivals. She wrapped her Warrior tour almost a year ago, in September 2015, and has made a few sporadic appearances onstage since, like when she covered Bob Dylan at this year’s Billboard Music Awards.

Though she’s currently disputing her contract with producer Dr. Luke, whom she alleges abused and assaulted her, Kesha is apparently free to perform new music live. She just can’t package and sell it without breaking the terms of the pricey six-album deal in which she’s still locked.
