NEW YORK — "This is a home game," Bas repeated from the Highline Ballroom stage to the sold out crowd on Wednesday night (July 13), unable to contain his excitement.

The Queens-bred rapper was back on familiar turf to cap his Too High to Riot tour, a 26-date cross-country journey that kicked off in early June and was coming to a close in the city that raised him.

The shoulder-to-shoulder fans, clad overwhelmingly in Dreamville and Fiends merch, rapped along to favorites from Bas's March album Too High to Riot, as well as some throwbacks from 2014's Last Winter.

No home game, though, can be a true blowout victory without the entire team stepping up. And that's what Dreamville was able to do, with Cozz, Omen, and, in the ultimate surprise, J. Cole joining Bas to help wrap the tour with gusto.

In addition to popping up for Too High to Riot's "Night Job" collab and playing an excited hype man for his signee's center-stage moment, Cole also performed "A Tale of 2 Citiez" and "No Role Modelz," both from his 2014 Forest Hills Drive.

Hard to imagine Bas could have hoped for a better homecoming.
