Bebe Rexha Is The Brains Behind Your Favorite Top 40 Songs

You may not know her name, but you definitely know her voice

Believe it or not, the infectious and attention-grabbing "woo-hoo"s in G-Eazy's "Me, Myself & I" and the dark, powerful lyrics from Eminem's "The Monster" came out of the same musician's mind: that of singer and songwriter Bebe Rexha.

It has been impossible to escape Bebe's presence for the last few years — since she left Pete Wentz's shadow and broke out on her own — as songs penned by her have landed on the Top 40 chart and in heavy radio rotation, giving her international success. While prepping her debut solo release, A.Y.F. (release date TBA), she has offered up her songwriting skills and incredible vocal abilities to other artists like Selena Gomez, Pitbull, Tinashe, and David Guetta.

On Friday (July 29), Bebe and Martin Garrix dropped their high-energy collaboration "In the Name of Love," which she also has co-writing creds on. To celebrate, let's look back on some other songs you may be surprised to learn Bebe has written and/or been featured on.

"Me, Myself & I" — G-Eazy with Bebe Rexha

This smash track was originally titled "I Don't Need Anything" and was written by Bebe for her solo release, but her record label apparently wasn't convinced it suited the musical direction she was going in. Bebe played the song for G-Eazy, and the two ended up collabing on it for his album When It's Dark Out.

"The Monster" — Eminem (ft. Rihanna)

Bebe wrote "Monsters Under My Bed" for her debut album, but Eminem loved the chorus and had a different vision for the track. He teamed up with Bebe and Jon Bellion to recreate it into a massive jam with Rihanna.

"Hey Mama" — David Guetta (ft. Nicki Minaj, Bebe Rexha, and Afrojack)

"It's tough hearing your voice on the radio, on a chorus, and knowing that people think it's another artist," Bebe confessed to Billboard about "Hey Mama," as she wasn't even originally credited for her vocals on the track and does not appear in the music video.

"Take Me Home" — Cash Cash

Bebe co-wrote "Take Me Home," which became an RIAA certified gold track in 2014.

"Team" — Iggy Azalea

"I ended up writing some last minute hooks with @beberexha and her writing partner a few days last week and really enjoyed my time," Iggy tweeted at the end of 2015. "She also convinced me to ugly-sing and it turned out great. I felt very out of my comfort zone, which is always when the good stuff happens."

"Under You" — Nick Jonas

Bebe actually wrote "Under You" for herself with Max Martin but thought the track was "too sexy" for her album. "Nick [Jonas] ended up coming in and it fit perfectly for his album and what he was going for," she revealed to AOL Build.

"All Hands On Deck" — Tinashe

Tinashe wrote the track with Bebe Rexha, and it was produced by Stargate and Cashmere Cat.

"Like a Champion" — Selena Gomez

Bebe co-wrote "Like a Champion" and recorded a demo of the song, but it ended up being giving to Selena Gomez for her Stars Dance album.

"This Is Not A Drill" — Pitbull (ft. Bebe Rexha)

Bebe collaborated with Pitbull, co-writing this track with him for his 2014 album, Globalization.

"One More Night" — Bella Thorne

Bebe penned two songs on Bella Thorne's Jersey EP, including this one.
