On Monday (July 4), Ansel Elgort posted a cover of "Treat You Better" by Shawn Mendes on Instagram and announced some exciting new music news. His "emotional piano version" of Shawn's latest single includes some new chords and swoon-worthy deep vocals.

Like Ansel's singing voice? In the video's caption, Ansel announced that his debut vocal single, "Home Alone," will be on SoundCloud next week. In a recent Facebook video update, he revealed that he has a bunch of new music coming out soon, explaining that he has written and produced the new tracks, transforming them from piano ballads into dance records.

This new music venture is not a project for his EDM alter ego, Ansolo, though. His new tracks will be under his own name, Ansel Elgort, although he has already creatively mixed the two, giving fans a snippet of his new song "Home Alone" during his set as Ansolo at Ultra Korea last month.

Acting, tap dancing, producing, DJing, singing ... Ansel can truly do it all.
