Rory Gilmore Casually Crashed The White House: See The Pics

Does this mean FLOTUS is in the Gilmore Girls revival?!

As Gilmore Girls fans surely recall, the 2007 series finale found Rory landing a job as a reporter on then-Senator Barack Obama’s presidential campaign trail. Rory was presumably there to usher Obama into the White House... and now it looks like she may be there to see him out.

At least, that’s what we’re forced to believe after seeing Michelle Obama’s series of Snapchats on Wednesday. FLOTUS just joined the social media platform on Tuesday, and she’s already managed to slay the Snap game by sharing pics of Alexis Bledel’s visit to the White House.

“It’s Rory! More coming soon…” the First Lady captioned a pic of her and Bledel, ultimately raising more questions than answers. Why is she holding a box of Pop-Tarts? Why does Bledel look like she just got caught with her hand in the cookie jar? Did they plan on coordinating in floral skirts? And, perhaps most importantly, does this mean FLOTUS could be guest-starring on Netflix’s upcoming Gilmore Girls revival?!

Sadly, that last question has already been answered with a disappointing “no.” A Netflix rep told Entertainment Tonight on Wednesday, “Michelle Obama is not in Gilmore Girls: A Year In The Life. It was just something fun Alexis did to support the launch of Michelle's Snapchat channel and her Let Girls Learn initiative.”

Bummer. On the bright side, it looks like we’ll be seeing more from this epic (and wonderfully random) hangout session soon.
