Did Channing Tatum Really Need To Take This Harvard Class About Dancing In Movies?

He's basically an Ivy League scholar now

Channing Tatum is apparently on a warpath to convince everyone that he’s not just a pretty face. Or just an amazing dancer. Or just a doting dad and just a loving husband. Nope, on top of all that, he also has to go and prove himself an Ivy League scholar. Some dudes really can do it all.

On Thursday, Tatum ventured to the hallowed halls of Harvard Business School, where he took part in an Executive Education course on entertainment, media, and sports. The class, titled “Strategic Marketing in Creative Industries,” is taught by Professor Anita Elberse, who was clearly ecstatic about her star-studded pupils, which also included LL Cool J and NBA players Chris Paul and Pau Gasol.

(Please note: Tatum apparently goes by “Chan” now.)

The Magic Mike star reportedly participated in a “live case,” during which the class discussed the impact of dance movies in Hollywood (something he’s obviously familiar with). Judging by one student’s sneaky pic, he had everyone watch a clip of his epic Beyoncé performance on Lip Sync Battle, because of course he did.

And just look how much fun he had! See, guys -- learning can actually be a blast (when Channing Tatum’s there, at least).
