There's been tension brewing for a few years now between Kendrick Lamar and Drake. Some collaborations. Some subliminals exchanged. Some jabs in interviews. It's all, it seems, for the sport, and stemming from mutual belief by each that they are the best at what they do, and there's certainly nothing wrong with that.
Nor is there anything wrong, if you're Kendrick Lamar, even given that relationship, with singing a Drake song. Or two.
That's what he did over the weekend, as documented by his label's founder, Anthony "Top Dawg" Tiffith. Apparently Top went and bought a new car, Dot joined him for the purchase, and sang (and sort of remixed) Rihanna and Aubrey's "Work" plus Views standout "Controlla" on the ride.
I'd listen to a Kendrick Covers The Songs Where Drake Sings album.
